Donations Wish List

As a nonprofit and charitable 501(c)(3) organization, STC WDC never seems to have the money for items that would make our activities run more smoothly. We rely almost exclusively on corporate angels that lend us their facilities and other resources for an evening. Perhaps you are in the position to help us this holiday season. Our wish list includes, but is not limited to, the following items.

  • Meeting room space (in Washington, DC metropolitan area)
  • Event catering donations
  • Scholarship Fund donations
  • Folding aluminum easels
  • Display stands and easels
  • Large bulletin board (both cork and marker)
  • Avery laser name tag and tent card supplies
  • Literature displays for brochures and winning competition entries
  • Storage space for chapter archives
  • Overhead projector
  • SVGA video projector, with adapter, for laptop presentations
    [acquired 30 September 2004]
  • Portable screen
    [acquired 1 November 2009]
  • Lapel microphone (cordless, if possible)
  • PC and Macintosh laptops with CD readers (to display Online Communication Competion winners at the Awards Banquet)
  • Portable TV/VCR

We also welcome all contributions and sponsorships of chapter activities and events.
