IABC/Washington president, Tomeka Rawlings

Our thoughts are with Tomeka Rawlings, president of the International Association of Business Communicators (IABC) Washington, DC Chapter, who suffered a stroke last week. She is being treated at the University of Maryland Medical Center in Baltimore and will remain there until the end of this week when her physical rehab will start. Her doctors expect her to make a full recovery. Until she is able to resume her duties, President-Elect Shonali Burke will fill in for her as Acting President.

The IABC/Washington asks that you send any e-mail messages or chapter-related inquiries to Shonali at moc.liamgnull@ekrub.ilanohs. She will be happy to relay any messages of support to Tomeka and her family.
