Rumor Control
Whatever you may have heard, John Travolta will probably not be attending the October Open House of the DC Chapter of the STC. His agent has not returned any of our calls. So, that outcome is in doubt.

The Other Hot Rumor
Someone said that, in his early days, during one rather long period without work, Mr. Travolta actually thought about changing careers. In fact, word has it he took an interest in technical writing. To this day, some say he still has a sneaking admiration for people in the technical communications field. Again, as noted before, none of this can be affirmed or denied as Mr. Travolta’s manager had not responded.

What Is True
Mr. Travolta may not make the scene, but you should. This is an opportunity to meet your chapter officers in a relaxed atmosphere of casual dining. It’s a chance to meet your fellow members, to network and exchange ideas.
