This list is for STC members who are willing to speak about technical communication topics. The Washington, DC Chapter receives numerous requests from employers, students, and teachers asking for a list of speakers, as well as from lawyers seeking expert testimony. The Speakers Bureau is a resource for WDC Chapter officers to help identify speakers and topics when responding to these requests and when planning for chapter events, conferences, professional development days, training seminars, and so forth.
Any STC member can be included in the STC WDC Speakers Bureau who is willing to speak at chapter events, schools, other professional associations, forums, symposiums, conferences, career days, in-house training opportunities, and so forth.
Nonmembers may not be included in this list. Non-STC speakers who are interested in presenting a topic for the chapter may contact the Events Committee Manager.
