The Washington, DC - Metro Baltimore Chapter website was created in March 1996. The evolution of the site has evolved from simple HTML 2 using tables for layout and black and white graphics to what it is today—a state of the art website that uses XHTML, CSS, PHP, some Javascript; incorporates a blog; links to STC RSS feeds, and is accessible for all users. With suggestions from chapter members and others, the content of the site has encompassed many sections that are not always found on other chapter websites such as research tools, local information, and a large list of job announcements.
