The Society for Technical Communication (STC) respects your privacy. This document outlines the ways that this STC Washington, DC Chapter Web site may collect information from you.

Browsing the Site

Generally speaking, you can visit the pages of the Washington, DC Chapter Web site without telling us who you are or revealing any personal information.

There are portions of this STC Web site that do request personal information.

Web Form Pages

Some portions of the site require personal information in order for you to complete certain activities such as joining a discussion list, registering for an event, or sending feedback. These pages will ask you to enter personal information such as your name, member number, mailing address, phone numbers, and e-mail address.
