Topic: Summer 2001 Planning: Chapter Vision Day

About the Event

Dewitt Jones, one of America's top professional photographers, told attendees at the STC Annual Conference this past May that the times of most change always hold the most potential. With the end of one chapter year and the beginning of another, the time of the most change for the chapter is now. Will you help us define our vision? We've got ideas, but we need people to execute them. We've got money, but we need people to help us decide where it will do the most good. We've got challenges, and we need people to suggest solutions. If you're new to the chapter, currently in a chapter leadership position, or have just been in the background too long, please join us. We will use our chapter's new strategic plan to help us focus in on the activities and services we will offer to our members and community this chapter year. Each activity or service must help us further one or more of the following objectives:

  • Reinforce existing strong leadership base
  • Provide greater value to members
  • Increase visibility in the community

After a guided brainstorming session led by Mary Wise, former president of the Society, we will end our day with a delicious lunch at no expense to participants. Come one, come all!

12:00 p.m. - 1:00 p.m. Lunch
