Come get practical guidance from an experienced writer who knows the kind of strict government standards we live by, along with legal land-mines to avoid. You'll want to apply her lessons immediately to improve your work product and your peace of mind.
About the Speaker
Diana Combs has a background in government policies and procedures. Working with the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration and the U.S. Coast Guard, she's learned about government writing requirements; how they handle processes, procedures, and policies; and the legal limitations that are placed around how the government does these things.

Have a sweet tooth? Like to bake? Know of a great bakery that makes a killer brownie? Have a favorite chocolate you think everyone else should love? Bring it in to be part of our first STC WDC Charity Raffle. Raffle tickets will be 1 for $1, 6 for $5, so everyone can have a chance to go home with a little treat. Your generosity will help the chapter and the community, with half of the proceeds being donated to a local charity.
Fees
The registration fee is to cover the cost of food and refreshments.
