Don't forget your business cards for networking!

About the Event

In 2006 we introduced the two-topic progression to accommodate the traffic in the area and everyone's busy schedules. If you come early, you get to leave early, or just spend some extra time networking. If you come late, you won't miss a thing. We'll hold two progressions, then a break for announcements, food, and finish off with a third progression. There will also be a table available for networking during all three progressions.

Moving from Technical Communication to Software Testing
Technical Communicators can use their skills in many different ways. During this presentation you'll learn what it'll take to start moving into the Software Testing field.
Progression table host: Doreen Mannion.
Creating Webinars using Articulate and PowerPoint
Articulate Presenter and Articulate Quizmaker enable you to create recorded web seminars and e-learning courses quickly, using existing Powerpoint presentations. Mary Wise, a Senior Communications Manager at Fannie Mae, will show you how to make the most of Powerpoint's capabilities and Articulate's features to leverage your existing presentations and create interactive recorded web seminars, complete with learning games, quizzes, and surveys.
Progression table host: Mary Wise.

The church is less than 4 blocks from the White House at the corner of New York Avenue and Thirteenth Street. President Lincoln and his family often attended services there. It is a reproduction of the church that stood there during the Civil War, when it served as a hospital. For more information about this historical church, see http://www.nyapc.org/history/.
