Topic: "Executive Committee Board Meeting"

About the Event

The May Board meeting of the STC WDC Executive Committee will be held at the 94th Aero Squadron restaurant in College Park, Maryland. A preliminary agenda will be distributed by e-mail for review. The final agenda will be distributed at the meeting. At this point, come prepared to introduce yourself, report on your committee, listen, discuss, make a few decisions, watch small planes land in the atmosphere of a WW1 bombed-out French country house, and enjoy a good meal. From the vintage planes from both world wars and memorabilia that litter the parking lot, to the old photographs inside and the sandbags above the bar, going into the 94th Aero Squadron is like walking onto an Indiana Jones movie set. Built next to the small but historic College Park Airport (America's oldest), the 94th Aero Squadron has excellent vistas. Sitting by the bay windows or on the large outdoor deck, patrons and passengers can watch single-engine joy riders take off and land.
