Description: Lee Givens will discuss the current and future incarnations of HTML and Web publishing including XML and DHTML. He will also address cross-platform tools and technologies that you can use to create compelling Web sites. Topics to be covered include:
  • Creating cross-platform Web sites
  • Color-safe graphics
  • HTML/Web style guides
  • Cascading style sheets and Web fonts
  • Dynamic Web page technologies
  • Apple's Colorsync technology for Internet Explorer

Lee Givens, Jr. is a Systems Engineer/Education Technology Consultant for Apple Computer and joint venture partner in Simply Savings, Inc. Lee is responsible for all technical aspects surrounding the Simply Savings Web Site (http://www.simplysavings.com/) including HTML design, database architecture, and telecommunications infrastructure. Lee also founded the Information Services group at InterPath Corporation, which is an Information Technology consulting firm located in the Washington, DC metropolitan area specializing in Macintosh enterprise solutions, training, and Internet services.
