The award-winning newsletter, Capital Letter, is published bi-monthly by the Washington, DC Chapter of the Society for Technical Communication (STC WDC). The newsletter's purpose is to inform Chapter members about events, business meetings, special events, and regular chapter and Society activities. Capital Letter also features articles, essays, and book reviews that are relevant to the field of technical communication.
We welcome articles, essays, book or software reviews, and information tidbits. We also sometimes need regular columnists. It's fun to see your name in print and a great way to gain recognition. It's also a great writing sample.
We sometimes need reviewers for certain chapter events. Reviewers who have been confirmed in advance are eligible for free admission to an event in exchange for writing a review of that event.
