The STC Washington, DC Chapter provides a CHAT discussion list (stcwdc-chat) that chapter members may use for questions relating to technical communication. You may post questions about technical communication, upcoming events, organize a lunch bunch, or look for a ride to an event. We also have a spot on the STC forum at http://stcforum.org/rss.php?fid=49 where you may contribute to discussions or add new topics to discuss. (The forum is for STC members only.)

The name of the discussion list is stcwdc-chat. Commands may be sent by e-mail or by using the Web page at http://mailman.stc.org/mailman/listinfo/stcwdc-chat
All postings to this list should be related to technical communication and should follow the CHAT posting guidelines. If you are new to using discussion lists, please review the Mailing list etiquette collected from experienced users of discussion lists.

The message will go to all the discussion list subscribers. (The discussion list works like a large broadcast mailing list—anything you post to the list goes out to everyone who is subscribed to the list.) This address is known as the "list address". (Only current subscribers may post to the list.)
