Directions to Ritz Carlton Pentagon City

• Southbound from Washington, DC
• Southbound from Baltimore/Silver Spring, MD

• Eastbound from Virginia Route 66

By Metro:

1. Take the Blue line toward Franconia-Springfield or the Yellow line toward Huntington.

   Located at east and west sides of Hayes Street between Army-Navy Drive and 15th Street. The elevator (handicapped access) is on the East side of Hayes Street.

2. Exit the train at the Pentagon City Metro station.
3. When you exit the station, turn left in the walkway tunnel.
4. Straight ahead you will see the entrance to the Fashion Center at Pentagon City (Pentagon City Mall). Ascend the escalator into the mall.

By Car:

Garage parking access is available from either 15th Street or Army-Navy Street. For more information, see Parking.

Southbound from Washington, DC:

1. Take 1-395 south to Virginia.
2. Take Exit 8C - Route 1 South/Pentagon City (a left-side exit ramp).
3. Follow Route 1 south to the 15th Street Exit.
4. At the bottom of the exit ramp, turn right onto 15th Street.
5. Staying in the right lane, follow 15th Street past Costco.
6. Continue through the intersection at 15th and Hayes Streets. You will see a park on the left and two apartment buildings on the right.
7. Just past the second apartment building, you will come to the parking garage entrance for the Fashion Center at Pentagon City (Pentagon City Mall). Turn right into the garage entrance.
8. After parking your car, take the elevator to the ground level. The Ritz-Carlton, Pentagon City is located adjacent to Nordstrom.

Southbound from Baltimore/Silver Spring:

1. Take 495 South (Capital Beltway) toward Northern Virginia/Bethesda.
2. Just past the Cabin John Bridge, take Exit 43 – George Washington Memorial Parkway.
3. After merging onto the GW Parkway, you will drive for about 11 miles, passing the Chain Bridge, Spout Run, and Key Bridge exits.
4. Eventually you will merge onto Washington Boulevard/VA-27 South. Watch for merging traffic, then move into the right lane.
5. Merge onto the exit ramp for the Lyndon B. Johnson/Pentagon exit. When the ramp splits, follow the right branch until you reach a Yield sign.
6. Staying in the right lane, continue straight ahead. Yielding to merging traffic, take the 244 West Columbia Pike/Navy Annex exit.
7. The exit ramp comes to a Yield sign at Columbia Pike. Cross into the left lane. You will see a Citgo station on the left.
8. At the traffic light, turn left onto S. Joyce Street.
9. Staying in the left lane, follow Joyce Street underneath the 395 underpass until you reach the intersection of Joyce and Army-Navy Drive. You will see a Bed, Bath, and Beyond store on the left corner and the first of three River House apartment buildings on the right.
10. Turn left onto Army-Navy Drive. Move into the right lane as quickly as possible.
11. Pass the Harris Teeter grocery store on the right.
12. Just past the grocery store is the Pentagon City Mall parking garage. Turn right into the garage entrance.
13. After parking your car, take the elevator to the ground level. The Ritz-Carlton, Pentagon City is located adjacent to Nordstrom.

Westbound from Eastern Maryland:

1. Take I-495 across the Woodrow Wilson Bridge into Virginia.
2. Just past the bridge, look for an exit for Route 1 North. When you take the exit, take the second exit ramp toward Arlington.
3. Follow Route 1 north through Old Town Alexandria. (In Old Town, Route 1 is Patrick Street.)
4. Follow Route 1 until you ascend onto a bridge. Stay in the right lane, following the bridge to an intersection with a traffic light.
5. At the light, turn right. At this point, you are still on Route 1 and are in Arlington County. This section of Route 1 is known as the Jefferson Davis Highway.
6. Continue following Route 1 into Crystal City. You will pass a shopping center with a Target store on the right, and you will begin to see a number of hotels and tall office buildings.
7. Take the 15th Street exit. On the exit ramp, stay in the left lane.
8. At the bottom of the ramp, turn left at the traffic light onto 15th Street.
9. Staying in the right lane, follow 15th Street past Costco.
10. Continue through the intersection at 15th and Hayes Streets. You will see a park on the left and two apartment buildings on the right.
11. Just past the second apartment building, you will come to the parking garage entrance for the Fashion Center at Pentagon City (Pentagon City Mall). Turn right into the garage entrance.
12. After parking your car, take the elevator to the ground level. The Ritz-Carlton, Pentagon City is located adjacent to Nordstrom.

Northbound from the Virginia I-95 Corridor:

1. Take northbound I-95 to northbound I-395.
2. Follow I-395 for about eight miles to Exit 8C - Pentagon City.
3. At the traffic light, turn right onto Army Navy Drive.
4. Move to the left lane.
5. Continue straight ahead through the intersection of Hayes Street and Army-Navy Drive. You will see a Macy’s store on the left.
6. Staying on Army-Navy Drive, continue past Macy’s until you see the Pentagon City Mall garage on the left.
7. Turn left into the parking garage.
8. After parking your car, take the elevator to the ground level. The Ritz-Carlton, Pentagon City is located adjacent to Nordstrom.

Eastbound from Virginia Route 66:

1. Take Route 66 east toward Washington, DC.
2. Just past the Rosslyn exit, you will enter a short tunnel. As you exit the tunnel, you will see merging traffic coming from the right. As quickly as you can, merge into the far right lane and take Exit 75 - Route 110 South.
3. Follow Route 110 south until it turns into Route 1 South.
4. Follow Route 1 south to the 15th Street/Pentagon City exit.
5. At the bottom of the ramp, turn right onto 15th Street.
6. Staying in the right lane, follow 15th Street past Costco.
7. Continue through the intersection at 15th and Hayes Streets. You will see a park on the left and two apartment buildings on the right.
8. Just past the second apartment building, you will come to the parking garage entrance for the Fashion Center at Pentagon City (Pentagon City Mall). Turn right into the garage entrance.
9. After parking your car, take the elevator to the ground level. The Ritz-Carlton, Pentagon City is located adjacent to Nordstrom.

Parking

Park in the Pentagon City Mall garage. The elevator to the various mall levels is at the end of a carpeted walkway from the garage. Garage parking access is available from either 15th Street or Army-Navy Street. Weekday parking fees are: 0-2 hours ($1.50); 2-3 hours ($2); 3-4 hours ($3); 4-5 hours ($4); 5-6 hours ($6); 6-8 hours ($10); 8-10 hrs ($14); and 10-24 hrs ($16); after 6:00 p.m. 0-2 hrs ($1.50); 2-10 hrs ($2) and 10-24 hrs ($16). Saturday and Sunday parking fees are: 0-2 hours ($1.50) ; 2-10 hrs ($2); and 10-24 hrs ($16).

Accessibility

The mall is accessible. Free wheelchairs are available at the Guest Services Centre, located on the Food Court/Metro Level underneath the Down Escalator.

Riding Metro to the Event

Parking in Metro lots – SmarTrip cards:
A SmarTrip card is the only form of payment accepted at Metro-operated parking lots. For more information about Metro parking and lot operating hours, see Daily parking at Metro stations.

You may purchase SmarTrip cards online from the Metro Store. (Note: The Metro Store page is on a very slow server so it may take a while for the page to load.)

Standard SmarTrip farecard: A renewable SmarTrip farecard purchased online has a $20 fare value already on it. The cost for the renewable card is $5. The total charge for this card is $25 online.

Senior and Disabled SmarTrip farecard: In order to purchase a discounted farecard, Senior citizens (65 and older) and persons with disabilities must have a valid WMATA Senior/Disabled ID card. (Applications for the free WMATA Senior/Disabled ID card are available from the Office of ADA Programs at 600 Fifth Street, NW, Washington, D.C. 20001 or by calling 202/962-1558, TTY 202/962-2033 and requesting an application be mailed to you.) A renewable SmarTrip farecard for senior and disabled riders purchased online has a $10 fare value already on it. The cost for the renewable card is $5. The total charge for this card is $15 online.

SmarTrip cards may also be purchased from vending machines in Metro stations but come with a lower initial fare value: $5 for the card with a $5 fare value for a total of $10 for the standard farecard. A separate vending machine allows you to add fare value up to $300 to the card.
