Take the Blue or Orange line to the Farragut West Metro station and take the 18th Street Exit (18th and I Streets). Walk 3 blocks south on 18th Street to F Street. The DACOR Bacon House is on the northwest corner at 18th and F.
Red line: to the Farragut North Metro station and take the K Street exit (Connecticut Avenue and K). Walk K Street west 1 block to 18th Street. Turn left (south). Walk 4 blocks south on 17th Street to F Street. The DACOR Bacon House is on the northwest corner at 18th and F.
Yellow/Green Line: Transfer at L'Enfant Plaza to the Orange/Blue line toward Vienna.
Green Line from Prince Georges County: Transfer at L'Enfant Plaza to the Orange line going to Vienna.
Note: 18th Street is one way going north. F Street is one way going East. G Street is one way going west.

via the BW Parkway or Route 50:
Go south on Kenilworth Avenue. Take the Howard Road exit, cross the South Capitol Street Bridge. Get on I-395 South and take the Main Avenue exit onto Independence Avenue. Go under Memorial Bridge and take the second exit to E Street. Turn left on 18th. The DACOR Bacon House is on the northwest corner at 18th and F.
via I-95 and I-495:
Take Route 95 to Route 50 West, which turns into New York Avenue. Turn right onto I (Eye) Street and continue to 17th Street. Turn left onto 17th Street, then a right onto G Street. Turn left onto 19th Street, then left onto F Street. Drive toward 18th Street. The DACOR Bacon House is on the northwest corner at 18th and F.
via I-270 and I-495:
Take the Beltway to the Connecticut Avenue south exit. When Connecticut Avenue ends at K Street, go through the intersection and veer right onto 17th Street, then a right onto G Street. Turn left onto 19th Street, then left onto F Street. Drive toward 18th Street. The DACOR Bacon House is on the northwest corner at 18th and F.
via I-66:
Proceed approximately 8 miles to the Theodore Roosevelt Bridge. Cross the Theodore Roosevelt Bridge. Take the left exit at the end of the bridge and follow signs to E Street. Take E Street and turn left on 18th. The DACOR Bacon House is on the northwest corner at 18th and F.
Note: Monday through Friday, I-66 East "inside the Beltway" (east of I-495) is limited for all lanes to High Occupancy Vehicle (HOV—2 persons or more) or airport traffic inbound to DC during morning rush hour (from 6:30 a.m. to 9:00 a.m.,). I-66 West is limited for all lanes to HOV traffic outbound from DC during evening rush hour (3:30-6:30 p.m.). Traveling in active HOV lanes with fewer passengers is a fine up to $500.00.
via I-495:
Take the George Washington Memorial Parkway (GW Parkway) to the Theodore Roosevelt Bridge exit. Take the left exit at the end of the bridge and follow signs to E Street. Take E Street and turn left on 18th. The DACOR Bacon House is on the northwest corner at 18th and F.
via Memorial Bridge:
Turn right at the end of the bridge onto Independence Avenue. Go under the bridge and take the second exit to E Street. Take E Street and turn left on 18th. The DACOR Bacon House is on the northwest corner at 18th and F.
via Key Bridge:
Take the Whitehurst Freeway exit. At the end of the freeway, either
1. Go straight onto K Street, turn right onto 19th Street, and turn left onto F Street. DACOR will be on your left at 18th Street
or
2. Turn right toward the Kennedy Center, take the E Street exit, and turn left on 18th. The DACOR Bacon House is on the northwest corner at 18th and F.
via 14th Street Bridge:
Don't take the 14th Street Bridge.
There is on-street parking in the area with one- and two-hour meters. Parking garages are on either side of 18th just north of the corner of 18th and F. Other garages are nearby. In the evening, street parking is available after 6:30 pm. Please be aware that most nearby parking garages close early. Check with the garage attendant.

Note: Metro trains, although uncrowded, do not operate as frequently before 9 a.m. on Saturdays. The wait time between trains may be 15 minutes.
Parking in Metro lots:
Parking at Metro-operated lots is FREE on weekends and federal holidays.
You may purchase SmarTrip cards online from the Metro Store. (Note: The Metro Store page is on a very slow server so it may take a while for the page to load.)
Standard SmarTrip farecard:
A renewable SmarTrip farecard purchased online has a $20 fare value already on it. The cost for the renewable card is $5. The total charge for this card is $25 online.
Senior and Disabled SmarTrip farecard:
In order to purchase a discounted farecard, Senior citizens (65 and older) and persons with disabilities must have a valid WMATA Senior/Disabled ID card. (Applications for the free WMATA Senior/Disabled ID card are available from the Office of ADA Programs at 600 Fifth Street, NW, Washington, D.C. 20001 or by calling 202/962-1558, TTY 202/962-2033 and requesting an application be mailed to you.) A renewable SmarTrip farecard for senior and disabled riders purchased online has a $10 fare value already on it. The cost for the renewable card is $5. The total charge for this card is $15 online.
SmarTrip cards may also be purchased from vending machines in Metro stations but come with a lower initial fare value: $5 for the card with a $5 fare value for a total of $10 for the standard farecard. A separate vending machine allows you to add fare value up to $300 to the card.
