Henry J. Wicko is a Senior Technical Writer/Business Analyst in the D.C. Metro area with an IT company named TechTeam Government Solutions, Inc. Currently, Henry is part of the web development team working on enhancing USDA Market News portals.
His travels in the technical writing field have taken him through the aviation, direct marketing, financial, government contracting, and software fields. He has written user manuals, training guides, design documents, and other various documents. Additionally he has just completed a course in Technical Writing at Northeastern University, and plans on continuing his way through their online Technical Writing Certificate program.
He was born and raised in Connecticut, has lived in the Dallas/Fort Worth area of Texas, and resides in Arlington, Virginia. He volunteers for the STC TE SIG and is involved with the publication of Corrigo, the SIG newsletter. Recently, Henry has created the latest Corrigo newsletter masthead, has compiled a collage layout for an editorial photography competition, and enjoys the graphic design field.
Henry has been a member of STC and our D.C. chapter since 2006.
