Pam Daily has been a member of the STC Washington DC Chapter since 2001. She served two years as managing editor of the Capital Letter, which received a Merit award in the 2002-2003 newsletter competition.

In 1997, Pam received a B.A. in English from Florida State University. Two years later, she was offered a temp-to-hire position as technical editor for Tetra Tech, Inc. (through a temp agency called EEI Communications) when visiting her sister here in Virginia. Tetra Tech is a nationwide environmental consulting firm, made up of architectural engineers, which produces high-quality documents including environmental impact statements, environmental assessments, and proposals. Pam manages the production department, multi-tasking as editor, proofreader, and liaison with technical personnel.

Before Tetra Tech, Pam was assistant editor for a Florida-based magazine publishing company called Skarco Press. She also freelanced for I DO For Brides magazine, the Palm Beach Post Real Estate weekend section, and Community News for Weston and Plantation city newspapers.

Pam has completed EEI courses for comprehensive proofreading and creating successful newsletters. In her spare time, she enjoys photography, writing, and quality time with her husband and their two cats, Teazer and Trooper.
